The terms for trying and hiring an AI employee

Last updated [DATE]

These terms cover the free demo on humanconverter.com and what happens when you hire an AI employee from us. We've kept them in plain English. If anything is unclear, email [CONTACT EMAIL] and we'll explain.

Who these terms are with

Human Converter is run by [BUSINESS NAME], [ABN/COMPANY NUMBER], of [BUSINESS ADDRESS]. When these terms say "we" or "us", they mean that business. "You" means the person using the site, and the business they work for if they hire an AI employee.

By using the site you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Trying the demo

  • The demo is free. You drop in a resume or job description, or pick a sample role, and we convert it into an AI employee that introduces themselves to you on a short call.
  • Only upload a resume or job description you're allowed to share. If it belongs to someone else, make sure they're happy for you to use it.
  • The profile, weekly tasks, introduction and salary estimate are produced automatically, so they can get things wrong. The salary is an estimate, and you can change it to what you'd really pay.
  • Your AI employee is an AI and always says so. Their face is a photo from our own set and their voice is generated, and they never claim to be a person.
  • Please don't use automated tools to run conversions, try to get around our limits, or upload anything harmful. We limit how many conversions can be run each hour and each day, and we may block anyone who misuses the demo.

What an offer summary is for

Every conversion gets a share link laid out as an offer summary, so you can forward it to whoever signs off. Anyone with the link can see it, it works for 30 days, and we ask search engines not to list it.

An offer summary describes what your AI employee would do for you and what hiring them would cost. It is a summary for discussion and doesn't commit either of us to anything. The details of what you hire are agreed on your onboarding call and in [SERVICE AGREEMENT OR ORDER FORM].

Hiring an AI employee

Our main plan is fully managed. You pay an onboarding fee that includes your AI employee's first month, then a monthly fee of a fifth (20%) of the role's yearly salary, divided into monthly payments. For a marketing coordinator on $57,245 a year (Indeed's average US base salary, October 2026), that's about $954 a month. The monthly fee is never less than [MINIMUM, currently $950] and never more than [MAXIMUM, currently $2,500].

For that, we onboard your AI employee the way you'd onboard a person. They get their own work email, their own phone number, their own computer (a Windows desktop to work in any software your team uses) and a Slack or Teams account, and we add them to your meetings, connect them to your tools, write their weekly task schedule, check their work, tune them each week and send you a monthly report. The price includes [PHONE MINUTES AND MEETING HOURS INCLUDED EACH MONTH], and use above that is charged at [OVERAGE RATES].

Your AI employee is ready to start within [N, currently 10] business days of your onboarding call.

Businesses converting more than one role can talk to us about our multi-role plan, which we quote separately.

The onboarding fee

The onboarding fee covers onboarding your AI employee: their email, phone number, computer, Slack or Teams account, their place in your meetings, the connections to your tools and their first task schedule.

The onboarding fee is $1,500. It covers onboarding and your AI employee's first month from their start date. Monthly billing starts one month after the start date.

How monthly billing works

To start, you pay the onboarding fee when you hire your AI employee, and it includes their first month. From one month after their start date, we bill the monthly fee [BILLING DATE, e.g. at the end of each month] by [PAYMENT METHOD]. Prices are in [CURRENCY, currently US dollars] and [INCLUDE OR EXCLUDE GST/VAT/SALES TAX].

[WHAT HAPPENS IF A PAYMENT IS LATE]

No lock-in, and firing your AI employee

There's no lock-in contract. If your AI employee isn't working out, you can fire them at any time by [HOW TO GIVE NOTICE, e.g. emailing CONTACT EMAIL], and billing stops at the end of that month. If you fire them during their first month, you've only paid the onboarding fee.

When you fire them, we switch them off and remove their access to your email, chat, calendar and tools. [WHAT YOU GET BACK, e.g. a handover summary of open work]

Working with your AI employee

  • We start with an agreed set of deliverables for the role, such as a weekly report, keeping your CRM up to date or answering new enquiries, set them up for your AI employee, and add more work over time as they prove themselves. They take on the deliverables we agree, and the rest of the role stays with your team.
  • Your AI employee works from the task schedule we agree with you. New tasks start with them preparing drafts for someone on your team to approve, until you're happy for them to handle those tasks on their own.
  • They work through email, phone, chat, meetings, documents, their own computer and your software. They can't do physical work or anything that needs someone in the room.
  • You decide what they have access to, and you can remove that access at any time.
  • They can make mistakes, the same as any new starter, so check their work on anything important. You stay responsible for the decisions your business makes.
  • Please don't ask them to do anything unlawful, or to tell anyone they're a person.
